This page describes exactly what the current version of the Companist website does.
Current website
The site uses Google Analytics 4 only after you accept analytics cookies. When you submit the contact form, your name, work email and company name are sent to info@companist.ai solely to respond to your request. The website does not store those details in its own database.
Analytics
After your consent, Google Analytics 4 measures aggregated website use. Google receives technical information and cookie identifiers for this purpose. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer.
Live transcription
Only when you start the Capture demo yourself, your browser sends microphone audio directly to a secure transcription service for live transcription. After the session, a secure AI service also summarises the transcript. Companist does not store the audio, transcript or displayed summary in this demo. Start only with permission from everyone who can be heard.
Meeting bot demo
When you submit a meeting link and bot name yourself, Companist passes them to a secure meeting bot service to send a visible bot to the meeting for no more than five minutes. During the meeting, the demo displays participants and live transcript lines. Companist does not store audio; bot status, visible participants, live transcript lines and the summary remain available for this demo for up to thirty minutes. Afterwards, Companist processes the available transcript with a secure AI service for the summary.
Before public launch
Before broader use, Companist must add its legal entity, contact details, purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention periods, possible transfers, processor arrangements and privacy rights.
Data, infrastructure and model choice
Companist stores data in Europe on ISO 27001-compliant infrastructure. Your organization retains data ownership and control. Processing can vary by service and selected model. The foundation is model-independent by design; Local AI is an option for suitable services.
